Our Manerle Jamaican Black Castor Oil is created using the traditional method. The oil is extracted from the seeds of the castor oil plant. The seeds are harvested, dried, roasted and then pulverized in a mortar.  Water is then added to the mortar, after which the mix is slow-boiled over a wood fire. The result is thick, unadulterated, pungent, and dark brown castor oil – which is also known as Jamaican black castor oil.
